Sensations began as a challenge to ourselves, to apply our own methodology to create a series of cross-modal experiences.

We wrote a set of Sensory Prescriptions®, each defining a sensation that can be experienced through every sense; cold & fresh, soft & warm, rough & earthy, smooth & smoky, sweet & sticky.

Each prescription is a single, unified brief; first translated into a musical composition and AI generated visuals designed to express the same sensation through sound and image.

When experienced in the lab, the audio-visual content alone feels almost visceral. Within the space we also pair each piece with an aroma and a drink, chosen following the same sensory prescriptions®; building out the sensation sense by sense.

The ambition is to extend this into taste and texture; creating a truly holistic multi-sensory experience, where the same sensation is experienced through every sense, congruently and simultaneously.

Dish, drink, sound, scent, lighting, visuals, materiality and service all originate from the same sensory prescription; every element aligned to a single sensory outcome.

The result is one coherent sensation, experienced fully and in unison across the senses; immersive, fully congruent and deeply affecting. The first of its kind.

We will open the doors to Sensations ‘lite’; featuring drinks and aroma pairings soon.
